Returning to Senso Sounds, Rostock born Carlo Ruetz steps forward with a superb EP of flawless techno on his Delta Charlie EP. The title track leads the way - a sinewy acid line weaves its way into the consciousness, while an insistent, edgy groove builds and builds until the moment of release. 'Purple Sky' follows up with a more spacy vibe, yet still remains perfectly taut and primed for dancefloor destruction. It has the air of an epic-moment-maker about it. 'Unknown Fairy Tales' maintains a similar tempo to get a little more aggressive, perhaps mirroring some of Ruetz’s legendary DJ sets - the synthline growling and snarling away as the track develops. Rounding off the EP 'The Vision' brings the journey to an end with a trippier vibe - tight loops and hard hitting kicks, sub bass tones and firing percussion push this track to limits.
